World’s Most Popular Browser
Thank the heavens! According to the World Wide Web Consortium, Internet explorer is no longer the world’s most popular browser. Illogical margins and padding, javascript incompatibilities, and frustrating errors may soon be a thing of the past. A superior user interface, respect for web standards, and a general willingness to stick it to the man has allowed Mozilla Firefox to rise to the top of the browser wars.
At the time of this writing, Firefox now accounts for 45.5% of all web traffic compared to Internet Explorer’s 44.8. It’s a good start that’s been long in the waiting for all web designers and developers.
