Bob Burris of Burris Sports Entertainment wanted a podcasting blog to promote his consulting business. He personally works with non profit sports organizations to gain partnerships for their events and promotions. Before he began working with nonprofits, his notable clients included the LPGA, PGA, NFL, and NBA.

In this project, I wanted to create something truly distinctive. Since it was a podcasting blog, readability was somewhat of a secondary concern. Building the entire site with transparent .png’s was a challenge but well worth the effort. At the time of this writing, I haven’t been able to master text-shadows for headlines across all browsers. Viewing in IE or Safari lends a nice effect, but Firefox is proving difficult.
